The IT Systems Engineer role will be focused mainly on client platform management, working closely with our Identity Management System Engineers, other IT teams, and Security. This means managing our fleet of Mac OS, Windows and mobile devices. Day to day activities can address improvements/automations to our MDM infrastructure, responding to security incidents, growing our software catalog, and handling escalated tasks and tickets. Scaling up, you'll be focusing on large projects to contribute to the overall mission of IT.
This role is based in our Vancouver office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner. What you'll achieve:
- Managing, maintaining and improving our MDM infrastructure
- Continuing to strengthen and develop our Mac OS program
- Continuing to strengthen and develop our Windows OS program
- Continuing to strengthen and develop our Mobile Device program
- Working on initiatives that tie identity management/endpoints together
- Working to continuously improve zero touch deployment for endpoints
- Working closely with our Security team on their initiatives to strengthen endpoint security
- Leveraging the use of API's to improve current processes and workflows
- Creating technical documentation that is easy to digest, develop processes and collaborate to hand off said process to peers/stakeholders
About you:
- 5+ years of experience in managing client endpoint infrastructure
- Experience with MDM solutions like JAMF, BigFix and Airwatch
- Experience with Identity Management platforms like Okta
- Experience with Windows management tools like Microsoft Intune and Entra ID
- Experience with Orchestration tools like Workato
- Experience with with scripting, such as Bash and PowerShell
- Self-motivated, independent, collaborative and proactive thinker focused on impact
- Demonstrates curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies, with a willingness to learn and leverage them to enhance productivity, collaboration, or decision-making

To ensure pay is fair and not impacted by biases, we're committed to looking at market value which is why we check ourselves and conduct a yearly pay equity audit.
For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $132,000–$150,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.
In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
