The Role:
We are looking for a hands-on Photographer/Videographer to bring to our new brand project to life through high-quality photography, video, and behind-the-scenes content. Working closely with our Design Director and Founders, you will turn creative vision into compelling visuals that support product launches, social storytelling, and brand growth.
You will own in-house content capture and post-production, helping shape a strong, consistent visual identity while authentically documenting the journey of a modern Big & Tall brand rooted in confidence, masculinity, and leadership.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Capture high-quality photography and video content for product launches, campaigns, lifestyle shoots, and social media.
- Execute cinematic video shoots, including behind-the-scenes and documentary-style footage that supports brand storytelling.
- Operate professional camera systems, lighting setups (studio and natural), and audio equipment to ensure broadcast-quality output.
- Edit and color-grade photography and video content to align with the brands visual identity and emotional tone.
- Prepare and deliver assets in multiple formats and aspect ratios optimized for various platforms (web, social, paid media).
- Collaborate closely with the Design Director and Founders to execute creative briefs and visual direction.
- Support ongoing content needs by adapting high-production visuals into social-first formats (Reels, TikTok, Shorts, carousels).
- Manage and organize a structured archive of photo and video assets for internal and cross-functional use.
- Participate in creative planning sessions to translate brand concepts into compelling visual executions.
- Ensure subjects—particularly Big & Tall men—are captured in a way that communicates confidence, strength, and leadership.
- Maintain consistency, quality, and efficiency across all visual outputs while meeting tight timelines.
- Contribute to an agile, in-house content workflow that reduces dependency on external vendors and improves speed to market.
- Post-secondary education in Photography, Film, Media Production, Communications, or a related field is an asset.
- Equivalent professional experience and a strong portfolio are considered in place of formal education.
- 3–7 years of professional experience in photography and videography.
- Proven experience producing high-quality visual content for brands, campaigns, or editorial environments.
- Experience working with real people (not only models), preferably in lifestyle, fashion, sports, or documentary-style settings.
- Experience delivering content across multiple platforms, including social media.
- Proficiency with professional camera systems (Sony, Canon, Blackmagic, or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of studio and natural lighting setups, grip equipment, and exposure control.
- Advanced photo editing and color correction skills (Lightroom, Photoshop).
- Video editing and color grading proficiency (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve).
- Ability to capture clean audio for interviews and behind-the-scenes content.
- Strong understanding of file management, asset organization, and export specifications for various platforms.
- Ability to adapt high-production content into social-first formats (Reels, TikTok, Shorts).
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to take creative direction from leadership.

Our Compensation Philosophy We are a meritocracy and believe in rewarding impact, accountability, and strong performance. Our compensation approach is designed to be fair, consistent, and aligned with the scope and responsibilities of each role, while supporting the attraction and retention of high-performers.
The typical hiring range for this position is $55,000 - $75,000 annually. Final compensation may vary based on job-related factors such as skills, experience, and demonstrated capabilities, as well as internal equity and total rewards considerations.
