This position will ensure that all goods and services are procured and are being managed to achieve the lowest overall cost for the company.
- Hourly wage: $ $24.40/hr
- Assist in daily operations duties to ensure the smooth functioning of Island Gas facilities and transportation.
- Support ongoing maintenance activities, including equipment inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Collaborate with the operations team to identify areas for improvement and propose solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Complete assigned upgrade projects, ensuring timely and successful execution.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of maintenance procedures and documentation.
- Participate in safety programs and adhere to all health and safety guidelines.
- Actively engage in training and development opportunities to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of Island Gas' operations within the Irving company.
- Currently enrolled in an engineering program or related field.
- Must be applying as part of a co-op program
