Description

The Human Resources Summer Student will support the HR team with day-to-day operations, employee programs, and ongoing HR projects. This role is ideal for a student pursuing studies in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  • Hourly wage : $19.50/hr to $21.15/hr
Responsibilities
  • Support HR documentation, filing, data entry, and maintaining employee records
  • Participate in HR projects related to engagement, training, and policy updates
  • Help coordinate employee events and wellness initiatives
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with company policies and HR processes
  • Assist with recruitment activities, including posting jobs, screening applications, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new employees
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Previous HR or office experience is considered an asset
