**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Coordinating and managing the pickup and delivery of ground-transported cargo.
- Negotiating the best rates with vendors, Customers.
- Provides friendly, positive, and helpful service to all clients, customers, and drivers.
- Receive incoming calls from customers.
- Plan, direct and redirect drivers as needed when breakdowns or other issues arise.
- Enter shipment information into the computer system accurately and efficiently.
- Efficiently dispatch equipment.
- Prepare and file dispatch reports.
- Track and report customer inquiries as required.
- Assist in other areas within the department in the achievement of goals and objectives.

**What you bring**:

- Completion of high school.
- 2-3 years in a transportation or dispatch.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer focus.
- Proven ability to multi-task & ability to prioritize tasks.
- Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, Word.
- Knowledge of industry an asset.
- May be required to work extended hours including occasional weekends.
- Additional or specialized training in transportation, logistics, or similar area of study
- You are committed to working safely
- You are highly productive and have excellent customer service
- You are a team player
- You aren't afraid to work hard, and you want to succeed
- You are open to learning new skills

**Salary will be discussed accordingly to the previous experience in dispatch.**

- Monday to Friday

**Salary**: $15.50-$20.00 per hour
