Overview

We're currently hiring a Painter with experience in interior and exterior painting for residential and light commercial projects. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a team. This role also offers the opportunity to learn other hands-on trades, including carpentry, tiling, flooring, and more for those looking to build a long-term career in construction.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces (sanding, patching, priming) for painting or finishing
  • Apply paint, stain, and coatings using rollers, brushes, and sprayers
  • Perform touch-ups and final detailing
  • Maintain clean work areas and tools
  • Follow safety procedures and company guidelines
  • Assist with other tasks on site as needed (e.g., minor drywall work, trim installation)

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of painting experience (preferred but not required)
  • Knowledge of surface prep and paint application techniques
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
  • Willingness to learn and support other trades on site
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
