Job Opening: Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer

Position Overview

We are seeking an Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will take on a range of responsibilities essential to providing compassionate and professional funeral services.

Key Responsibilities

· Arrange and coordinate funeral services, ensuring all aspects are managed with sensitivity and attention to detail.

· Perform embalming procedures in accordance with industry standards and regulatory guidelines.

· Direct funerals, maintaining professionalism and care throughout each service.

· Participate in a third-weekend on-call rotation as part of the team's commitment to serving families at all times.

· Operate crematorium equipment safely and effectively.

· Set up and manage audio-visual (AV) equipment for funeral services.

· Prepare and coordinate cemetery site setups as required for each service.

· Handle transfers with care and professionalism.

Qualifications and Skills

· Possession of a valid driver's license.

· Physical capability to lift heavy weights and equipment as part of daily duties.

· Strong organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.

· Effective communication abilities for interacting with families and team members.

· Proficiency with computers to manage records and service arrangements.

· Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks as required.

Preferred Qualifications

· Preference will be given to candidates who meet the above requirements and have relevant experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
