The Research Planning & Analysis team provides operational and financial insight through the provision of timely and accurate
information, presented in consumable formats for decision-making. We provide organizational expertise in the analysis,
interpretation and integration of financial and clinical research data driving sustainable growth and efficiency across the Research Enterprise at HHS

  1. Accreditation as a Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or Certified General
    Accountant (CGA) or comparable Investment Designation
  2. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or Master's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration
  3. Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and experience with budgeting
  4. Proven ability to analyze research, manage and work independently
  5. Intermediate or better computer skills in the use of Microsoft Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  6. Demonstrated excellence in communication and interpersonal skills
  7. Not-for-Profit Organization experience an asset

The Senior Advisor, Research P&A will work with the Research Vice President, Research Administrative Directors and their management teams and with the research studies Project Director/Manager (PD/PM) and Investigator (PI) to achieve and maintain effective financial management, control and strategic planning while working within the corporate policies and procedures of HHS.

Full time hours (37.5 hours/week).

This position is temporary until December 2026.
