Labour Coordinator (Part-Time) – Pynx Productions

As we scale toward our goal, we are looking for a Part-Time Labour Coordinator to join our leadership and operations team in Brantford. Your job is to ensure that our "Vibrant Enthusiasm" and "Fearless Vision" are matched by a perfectly scheduled, safe, and elite crew.

The Compensation

Starting rate $22 per hour

The Role & Responsibilities

As the Labour Coordinator, you will be the bridge between our Sales Consultants and our On-Site execution team. You will report to the Operations Manager to ensure every event is staffed for success.

Crew Resource Allocation: Manage the scheduling of freelancers and full-time staff in Lasso, ensuring we hit our target of 201 core-value-aligned freelancers by 2027.

Relationship Management: Build long-lasting, positive relationships with our technical crew; be a patient and effective listener to their needs.

Safety & Compliance: Uphold our "Safety and Respect" core value by ensuring all crew are trained and compliant with site-specific safety protocols.

Operational Sync: Work closely with Project Management to ensure "The Pynx Promise"—treating every client's event as if it were our own.

Logistical Support: Coordinate with the Warehouse Manager to align labour with equipment load-ins and load-outs.

Qualifications

Industry Experience: Minimum 2 years of front-line experience in the Audio Visual or Event Production industry.

Leadership Traits: Results-oriented, self-motivated, and a dedicated team player who can handle high-pressure scheduling demands.

Communication: Exceptional outgoing attitude with the ability to "take control" of complex logistical situations.

Mobility: Valid Class G License.

Tech Savvy: Ability to learn and master scheduling software (Lasso) and project management tools (Flex/Google Drive).
