Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing production teams, ensuring quality standards, and optimizing processes to meet production goals. This role requires strong leadership skills and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Duties
- Supervise daily production activities and manage team performance to ensure operational efficiency.
- Implement production schedules and monitor workflow to meet deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while fostering a culture of safety among team members.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and processes to maintain high-quality standards.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff, providing feedback and support for professional development.
- Collaborate with other departments such as Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to streamline operations.
- Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of production metrics, employee performance, and inventory levels.
Experience
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment is essential.
- Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Proficient in using manufacturing software and tools for tracking production metrics.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions under pressure.
