**Job Title**: Production Manager/ Supervisor

**Salary**: $65,000 plus Bonuses

**Job Type**: Direct Placement (Full-Time)

We are hiring for a new packaging manufacturing company located in Windsor, Ontario. Our clients manufacturing facility is nearing completion and we and are looking for a dynamic and experienced Production Manager to join their team. The company is a growing company looking for a Production Manager who likes building a team and growing an operation from the ground up. This individual will be building policies and procedures.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Production Leadership:_
Oversee day-to-day operations of a thermoforming process, maintaining efficient workflows and aligning with production timelines.
- Process Improvement:_
Continuously assess and refine thermoforming methods to increase output and reduce material waste.
- Quality Control:_
Establish and uphold quality assurance standards to ensure all products meet required industry and client expectations.
- Equipment Oversight:_
Manage upkeep and servicing of forming equipment and related machinery to minimize downtime and maintain peak operational performance.
- Inventory & Materials Coordination:_
Work closely with vendors and internal teams to manage stock levels of PET sheets and other materials, ensuring consistent production flow.
- Team Supervision:_
Lead and develop production personnel, providing training and performance feedback while reinforcing safety and productivity standards.
- Health & Safety:_
Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing health and safety policies and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Cost Efficiency:_
Track production-related expenses and implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining high standards of product quality.

**Must haves**:
Must have minimum 3 years experience as a Production Supervisor
Must have experience with training and managing a team of 15+ employees
Must have a degree in engineering, manufacturing, business management, or a related field.
Must have experience implementing policies and procedures

**Nice to have**:
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and methodologies
Experience in Plastic Manufacturing

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $49,515.18-$65,000.00 per year

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Production Supervisor: 4 years (preferred)
- training and managing a team: 2 years (preferred)
- Plastic Manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)
