About Us:
Mission: Supporting women who are founders, creators, and innovators, while also providing critical support to women experiencing challenges. Whether through business resources or emergency assistance, FoundHER helps women create and sustain their businesses while providing help to women in need. 
Role and Responsibilities: As a Board Member, you will play a key role in shaping the vision and direction of FoundHER Foundation. Responsibilities include:
Governance & Strategic Leadership:
  • Provide oversight of the foundation's mission, strategy, and financial health.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards for nonprofit governance.
  • Participate in board meetings, decision-making, and strategic planning.

Fundraising & Advocacy:
  • Assist in securing funding through grants, donations, and sponsorships.
  • Promote the foundation's mission and programs within personal and professional networks.
  • Support initiatives that expand our impact and partnerships.

Operational Support & Program Development:
  • Provide guidance on programs, policies, and organizational growth.
  • Offer expertise in areas such as finance, legal, marketing, HR, or nonprofit operations.
  • Support the Executive Director and leadership team as needed.

Networking & Community Engagement:
  • Act as an ambassador for FoundHER Foundation.
  • Connect the organization with potential donors, supporters, and collaborators.
  • Attend events and initiatives that align with our mission.

Ideal Candidate Profile: We are looking for individuals who are passionate about supporting women and driving meaningful change. Ideal candidates should have:
  •  Experience in leadership, business, nonprofit governance, or social impact work
  •  A strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  •  Skills in one or more areas: finance, law, fundraising, marketing, HR, entrepreneurship, or nonprofit management.
  •  A network of contacts and willingness to advocate for FoundHER's mission.
  • The ability to commit to quarterly board meetings and actively contribute to initiatives.
