Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Automotive Technician / Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical expertise, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Perform automotive repairs and maintenance tasks as assigned
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with vehicles
  • Conduct inspections and tests to identify additional repair needs
  • Assemble, disassemble, and reassemble vehicle components as required
  • Use power and hand tools safely and effectively
  • Weld and fabricate parts when necessary
  • Communicate clearly with customers, addressing concerns and explaining repair processes

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic
  • Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding work
  • Proficient in using power tools and hand tools
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Journeyman certification (preferred)

Schedule

  • Monday to Saturday — 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • Sundays and holidays closed

Compensation

Additional Pay:

  • Bonus pay

  • Must be able to commute to: Vancouver, BC V5N 2S4
  • Relocation assistance may be considered for the right candidate

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Experience:

Licence/Certification:

  • Driver's License (preferred)
  • Journeyman (preferred)
