Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Operations Manager to oversee afternoon operations in our warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing warehouse staff, ensuring efficient processes, and maintaining high standards of safety and productivity. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement in warehouse operations.

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Liaison and work along side our in-house federal agency and comply with their secrurity protocols.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for staff on equipment operation, safety procedures, and best practices in warehouse management.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as , customer service, and other divisions to ensure seamless operations.
  • Analyze data related to warehouse performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements related to warehouse operations.

Experience

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse or distribution environment is essential.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) for reporting and communication purposes.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of 3PL operations, customs protocols, will be advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability in team management, customer service excellence, and process improvement initiatives is highly desirable.
  • Experience working in an unionized enviroment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $68,000.00-$72,000.00 per year
