Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker / Millwork Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for woodworking and a strong background in custom millwork or cabinetry. This role involves producing high-quality cabinets, architectural millwork, and custom projects for trade show displays and exhibits, ensuring precision, durability, and craftsmanship in every build. The Cabinet Maker will work closely with designers, project managers, and the shop team to bring creative concepts to life while adhering to safety standards and best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical plans for custom millwork, cabinetry, and trade show exhibit components.
  • Fabricate and assemble cabinet and millwork components using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery with precise measurements and cuts.
  • Build custom exhibit structures, display elements, and specialty fabrication pieces for trade shows and events.
  • Operate CNC machinery for accurate cutting, routing, and shaping of materials as required.
  • Apply finishing techniques including construction painting, laminating, caulking, and surface treatments to enhance the final product.
  • Collaborate with designers and shop personnel to ensure projects are completed on schedule and meet quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in accordance with shop safety protocols.
  • Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Assist with light masonry or installation-related tasks as needed for custom exhibits or millwork installations.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker, Millworker, or similar role in custom woodworking.
  • Strong understanding of blueprint reading and technical drawings for custom millwork or cabinet making.
  • Experience with construction or laminates,.
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to craftsmanship and quality.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials as required.
