JOB DESCRIPTION

An employer is seeking a Systems Analyst for a contract opportunity in Saskatoon Canada. This candidate will be joining the Infrastructure Engineering team and will provide system support for customers, the local office, as well as remote offices and data centers. This candidate day to day will consist of system administration, monitoring, upgrading, maintenance, installation, setup, configuration, testing and deployment of server and client systems within Windows, Linux, ESX, and Virtual environments. Please note that this team mostly supports the company's internal teams and needs. The environment consists of 40% Linux, 50% Windows, 10% Misc.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

* Must have 5+ years of professional experience in Systems Administration of Windows and Linux servers and workstations. * Must understand networking protocols and be able to diagnose network related problems (data center, servers, switches, cabling) * Demonstrated experience in multiple OS's including Red Hat experience (version 7 or 8) and Ubuntu (version 18 or 20) and Windows 11 and above * Must have in-depth knowledge supporting and administering servers and workstations in a large, multi-site, enterprise-wide environment. Global experience highly desirable * Virtualization experience * Must possess scripting abilities (Python) along with process automation. * Must work well in a cross-functional / matrixed team environment and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.

* Demonstrate time management and prioritization skills to accommodate business requirements and managing scheduled activities. * Possess basic Netapps/storage experience in a Linux/engineering environment * MSP experience
