Conference-Based Sales Representative

About GenomeArc: GenomeArc is an emerging leader in clinical genomics and multi-omics intelligence. Our Horizon Platform and Horizon Intelligence tools empower clinicians, researchers, and healthcare organizations with advanced variant interpretation, agentic AI capabilities, and actionable rare-disease insights. We participate in major scientific and healthcare conferences throughout the year, and we are seeking dynamic individuals to represent GenomeArc on-site.
Role Overview: The Conference-Based Sales Representative will represent GenomeArc at selected conferences and events. This is an on-call, event-based position with no fixed salary; individuals are compensated per event attended. Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, articulate, and comfortable engaging with clinicians, researchers, and industry professionals in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities: Represent GenomeArc professionally at conferences, symposia, and industry events.-Engage attendees, introduce GenomeArc's Horizon Platform and Horizon Intelligence, and communicate product value clearly.-Capture high-quality leads and document potential customer interactions.-Support booth setup, coordination, and visitor flow management.-Demonstrate platform features (training provided).-Collect attendee interests and pass leads to GenomeArc's internal team for follow-up.-Maintain an organized and branded presence consistent with GenomeArc's standards.-Provide post-event summaries, lead lists, and observations.
Qualifications:
- MSc or Bachelor's in biology/biotechnology/genetics is preferable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable speaking with clinicians, researchers, and industry delegates.
- Prior experience in sales, scientific events, healthcare, or life sciences preferred (not mandatory).
- Ability to quickly understand and articulate genomics product features (training provided).
- Professional demeanor, reliability, and punctuality.
- Willingness to travel and work extended hours during conference days.
- Must reside in Canada and legally allowed to work in Canada.
- Eligible to travel to US is a plus.
