Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations while ensuring excellent customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle operation, as well as the ability to handle freight and heavy equipment when necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
  • Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling of all items.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding delivery status and any issues that arise.
  • Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment as needed for loading and unloading tasks.
  • Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on delivery vehicles when required.

Requirements

  • Valid Class 5 Driver's license is must and experience in delivery driving is a plus.
  • Familiarity with freight handling procedures and safety regulations.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record-keeping.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
  • Previous experience in automotive repair is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: $142.00-$342.32 per day
