In business for over 30 years, 24 Carrots Bakery is a busy wholesale/retail bakery located on Kempt Road in Halifax. We have an immediate opening for a Saturday Delivery Driver.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering baked goods every Saturday using our company van to wholesale and retail customers in HRM. Deliveries to grocery stores will include merchandising duties such as organizing shelves, removing outdated product, and taking inventory.

Shifts begin at 6:00 AM on Saturdays.

The successful candidate will be:

  • An experienced driver with a clean Driver's Abstract, comfortable with both city and highway driving, and driving in inclement weather.

  • Outgoing, friendly, and courteous, with good communication skills in English.

  • Able to work in a physically demanding job that involves bending, lifting and carrying 50 lbs, walking, standing, and climbing stairs.

  • Good at math for counting, merchandising, and making change.

  • Clean, neat, with a professional appearance.

  • Punctual and reliable.

  • Previous delivery experience an asset.

  • Able to provide a clear Criminal Record Check.
