Trees for Life Tree Care is looking for an individual to crew lead and perform small tree pruning, hedging and landscape work that requires a high level of quality and aesthetic detail.

Duties Include:

  • Understand customers needs and objectives and perform quality work with a high level of detail.

  • Complete projects in a time efficient manner to reflect client goals within the allocated budget and quality

  • Set up and maintain a safe work site

  • General jobsite clean up (haul branches and load into the truck for removal, rake and use blower to cleanup work site)

  • Hedge trimming, small tree pruning and landscape work

  • working on ladders as well as working with chippers as well and saws.

  • Be a self-starter and find ways to contribute to completing the work at the jobsite.

  • Working in all types of weather including rain, wind and snow.

  • Assist crews with large tree removals and projects

Job requirements:

  • Must have access to a vehicle to get to different jobsites each day or meet at yard (near Tyson Rd and South Sumas or near Sinclair Rd and Blackburn Rd) for 7:00am.

  • Must be physically fit and able to lift 50lbs

  • Have steel-toed boots and wear required safety gear

  • Be a good team player who communicates well with team members

  • Committed to health and safety in the workplace

  • Energetic, motivated and hardworking individual who is looking to grow in a small company.

Desirable attributes:

  • Training and experience in the tree care, landscape or horticulture industries

  • Experience with equipment, including saws, pole pruners and chainsaws

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
