Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and bilingual Vice-President, Canada based out of Toronto, Ontario, to lead sales and relationship management efforts across the private wealth channel in Ontario and the Central Canadian provinces. You will represent Coller Capital's innovative secondaries offerings to banks, independent dealer networks, and family offices, helping drive asset flows and deepen our presence in the region.
This role is a critical hire focused on capital-raising execution and relationship development across a high-priority territory. The successful candidate will bring an established network, deep knowledge of the regional investment advisor landscape, and a proven track record of raising capital for private market or alternative investment products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the lead representative for Coller Capital PWSS in Ontario & Central Canada.
- Build and manage relationships across all retail and private wealth channels, including banks, independent broker-dealers , and family office platforms.
- Represent Coller Capital at regional conferences, advisor roadshows, and industry events, ensuring strong brand presence and engagement.
- Collaborate with internal product, marketing, and operations teams to ensure optimal advisor experience and support.
- Provide regular reporting and feedback on market dynamics, client engagement, and sales pipeline.
- Be a team player contributing to a national strategy and culture of excellence, transparency, and collaboration.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in investment sales or wholesaling, preferably within private markets, alternative investments, or high-net-worth distribution.
- Strong existing platform (head office & advisor) relationships.
- Deep knowledge of the private wealth ecosystem, including independent advisor networks and family office channels.
- Proven track record of raising capital and building client trust across institutional-quality investment products.
- Background at a bank-owned private alternatives platform or a top-tier mutual fund / alts firm distributing across Canada is preferred.
- Self-starter with a results-oriented mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel within territory and across Canada as required.
