POSITION SUMMARY:

Sparkle Solutions is seeking an energetic, customer oriented, and Mechanically Inclined Person for a few local service calls per week in Victoria & Surrounding areas.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Efficiently troubleshooting mechanical repairs to washers, dryers, equipment;
  • Recognising and troubleshooting electrical and plumbing problems in laundry rooms.
  • Maintain clean machines consistent with the company image and professional appearance;
  • Understanding and strictly following all company processes and procedures;
  • Always presenting a professional appearance and provide service to customers in a positive, professional manner;

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:

  • At least one year experience in mechanical repairs (washer/dryer experience is a plus);
  • Manoeuvring and/or lifting of heavy equipment up to 75 lbs. required;
  • Must own and supply basic hand tools;
  • Need excellent oral and written communications skills, as well as organisational and interpersonal skills;
  • Must be highly flexible, able to prioritise schedule, and work on multiple projects while still meeting deadlines;
  • High school diploma or equivalent and valid Driver's License.

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:

The top candidate(s) will be required to undergo a security screening check conducted by Sparkle Solutions Human Resources. The process involves a background investigation that includes Criminal record and other pre-employment reports including work references from previous employers, driving abstract verification etc.
