Infusd, established in 2023, is a next-generation technology platform enhancing the solubility and stability of ingredients used in the food, beverage and nutrition space. Backed by leading investors, including Next Gen Nutrition Capital, and strategic partners such as Griffith Foods and Agthia Group.

Infusd's technology was developed in collaboration with leading Canadian institutions, and is now being commercialized by way of our newly commissioned manufacturing facility in Western New York to meet demand from a robust pipeline and major partnerships including Symrise AG and Caldic BV.

About the Role

Position:
Research & Development Food Scientist

Location:
West-End Halifax HQ & Dalhousie Laboratory

Experience:
Background in Food Science required. Special consideration will be given to applicants who also have a background in Chemistry.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead High-Impact Research:
    Drive R&D in food, beverage and nutrition with a special focus on botanical based natural preservation solutions.
  • Innovate & Design:
    Directly influence the development of breakthrough products with mass market potential.
  • Testing:
    Refine formulas with detailed stability, shelf-life, sensory, and analytical testing.
  • Collaborate & Lead:
    Work with cross-functional teams and 3rd party labs to produce novel products at lab, pilot and commercial scale.
  • International Influence:
    Undertake cutting-edge research which contributes to global industry advancements.
