Title:Events Coordinator

Salary:$59,336 - $74,169 - $81,586 per year (pay range explained below)

Contract:Temporary – until April 20, 2027

Hours:37.5 hours (core hours Mon-Fri 9am-3pm)

Location:Park Royaloffice – Hybrid (Hybrid working is an option in line with FNHA's flex work policy). Please note, this role will be relocating to our new office building in North Vancouver on Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) land, south of Mount Seymour Parkway in Spring 2027.

About the role

As the Event Coordinator, you will support the Travel and Events Unit. You will coordinate day-to-day delivery of events for FNHA departments, such as conferences, regional and provincial sessions, formal gatherings, training and workshops. Also, you will oversee all logistical aspects of the event planning process. In addition, you will provide logistical and technical support to event coordination. Additionally, you will coordinate, prepare, and review purchase requisitions, expense reports, and other financial claims.

About you

Education

  • A diploma in event management or business administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience

  • Two years' relevant and recent experience in a senior administrative capacity, with a focus on event coordination
  • Entry-level experience with project management methodologies is an asset
  • Experience in a customer service environment
  • Experience developing and maintaining administrative systems, processes and procedures
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat Pro is an asset
  • Experience working with PeopleSoft, SharePoint and online registration/attendee management systems is an asset

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.

Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.

The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
