Fiberglass Insulator

We are seeking a skilled Fiberglass Insulator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing fiberglass insulation materials in residential and commercial buildings to enhance energy efficiency and comfort. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions, and proficiency with hand tools. We are looking for someone that can work independently with little supervision.

We will provide training if needed. Hourly wage is based on experience.

Mandatory requirements:

We work all around the lower mainland, bowen island, sunshine coast so having reliable transportation, and willing to travel.

PPE(safety vest, steel toe boots, hard hat)

BC Residents only.

GST number or willing to obtain one

Tools: 25mm Olfa knife, tack hammer, tool pouch

Optional: N95 mask, gloves, stilts

Responsibilities

Install fiberglass insulation in walls, ceilings, and floors according to specifications and building codes.

Utilize hand tools and equipment effectively for cutting, fitting, and securing insulation materials.

Apply caulking where necessary to seal gaps and improve energy efficiency.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Experience

Previous experience in fiberglass installation or related construction fields is preferred.

Proficient in using hand tools required for insulation installation tasks.

Experience with caulking techniques is a plus but not mandatory.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work in a timely manner.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
