Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic interprofessional team at Georgetown Hospital on the Medical/Surgical unit. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment, helping to enhance recovery and contribute to an exceptional patient experience.

Qualifications

• Registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
• Member of the Canadian Occupational Therapy Association or Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists preferred
• Cognitive/perceptual assessment and treatment skills
• 2 - 3 years of demonstrated knowledge and experience working with patients in an acute inpatient setting
• Demonstrate knowledge and experience working in an inpatient Geriatrics
• Knowledge and experience in the use of outcome measures
• Must be flexible and demonstrate an ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with all team members
• Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
• Excellent organizational abilities with proven time management skills
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position
• Satisfactory employment and attendance record required

Additional Information

Hours: Monday-Sunday, various rotating 7.5 hour shifts, hours subject to change based on operational requirements)

Salary: $40.011 to $56.425 per hour
