Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to support the development and well-being of children in our care. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn, play, and grow. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and experience working with children of various needs, including those with disabilities. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives through attentive caregiving and engaging activities.

Duties

  • Supervise children during daily activities, playtime, and mealtimes to ensure safety and engagement
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development
  • Assist with potty training, diapering, and other personal care routines as needed
  • Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages social skills and emotional growth
  • Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns
  • Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment in accordance with health and safety standards
  • Assist in managing behavioral issues with patience and positive reinforcement

Experience

  • Prior classroom experience working with young children or in early childhood education is preferred
  • Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated caregiving skills, including patience, empathy, and effective communication
  • Background in teaching or child development programs is a plus
  • Proven ability to create engaging learning environments that support children's growth and development

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.20-$18.44 per hour
