We are a growing café known for quality, consistency, and a high-energy breakfast rush. We are looking for an experienced Breakfast Chef with strong bakery skills to join our team and help elevate our morning menu.

Job Description:

The Breakfast Chef will be responsible for preparing and executing our breakfast offerings with speed, consistency, and creativity. This role requires someone confident in both hot breakfast production and in-house baking.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook all breakfast menu items with consistency and strong attention to detail
• Produce baked goods daily (muffins, pastries, scones, etc.) according to café standards
• Create and present 3 new breakfast recipe ideas for the café (as part of onboarding and menu development)
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen line during service
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Assist with inventory, prep lists, and kitchen organization

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a breakfast-focused kitchen
• Strong bakery experience (mixing, proofing, baking, etc.)
• Ability to work efficiently during high-volume morning rush
• Creative and confident in recipe development
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Food Handler's Certificate an asset

Schedule:

• Morning shifts (typically 6:00am–2:00pm)
• Weekday and weekend availability required
