Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism to uphold our company's reputation for dependable delivery services.

Hiring Owner-operator drivers with SEDAN, MINIVANS or SUVs Pay Per Delivered pkg: $1.50-$1.60. Payout: Bi-weekly- Bank Transfer (No-Tax Deducted), first pay takes time. Volume: 80 to 160 pkg each route (depending on the volume and performance). Monday to Saturday Days work available Permanent/fixed routes available for those with good performance. Pickup time: between 7 and 8 am, route needs to be done same-day before 10 pm. Pickup: Richmond. Delivery Area: Vancouver Greater area, Richmond, Surrey, Delta, Coquitlam, Langley, Abbotsford, North Van, Tsawwassen, and West Van.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport freight and goods to designated locations
  • Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or heavy equipment when necessary
  • Verify delivery orders and ensure accurate documentation of shipments
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
  • Navigate routes efficiently using GPS or maps to meet delivery schedules
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status or issues
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of delivery vehicles
  • Assist with warehouse operations, including freight handling and inventory management when required

Skills

  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
  • Experience operating forklifts, heavy equipment, or other industrial machinery is a plus
  • Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols
  • Basic automotive repair skills are advantageous for vehicle troubleshooting and minor repairs
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently when needed
