Position Overview:

Northplex Ltd. is looking for a Full-Time Manufacturing Labourer to join our team. This role is responsible for general labour tasks within the production facility, including material handling, cleaning, organization, and assisting Shipping & Receiving as required. This is a hybrid indoor/outdoor position; however most duties will take place inside the facility.

The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position involves significant hands-on material movement and organization. Overtime is available and required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Move and stage materials throughout the facility to support production teams
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas, including shop floors, inventory zones, and common spaces
  • Operate a forklift and other material-handling equipment (training provided if needed)
  • Assist Shipping & Receiving with loading/unloading trucks and performing material checks
  • Dispose of waste, debris, and scrap materials
  • Perform cycle counts on various materials to ensure accuracy within the inventory system

Qualifications

  • Previous labour, warehouse, or manufacturing experience considered an asset
  • Forklift experience is an asset; however, training can be provided for the right candidate
  • Physically capable of lifting/moving materials and standing/walking throughout the shift
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to follow instructions
  • Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors as required
  • Ability to use a respiratory device for certain tasks (training and fit-testing provided)
  • Able to work safely and maintain clean, organized workspaces
  • Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends as needed
