Our client is a successful boutique Search firm assisting food & beverage manufacturing, foodservice, retail and consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies in identifying, assessing and hiring the right people to run their organizations.
Our client fills supervisory to executive level technical (plant) and corporate positions across all functions including; operations, quality assurance, research & development, maintenance,engineering, supply chain, sales, marketing, and finance.
Reporting to the partners, this new role has been created to help fill the growing business needs of their business. It requires a strong Sourcing Recruiter with experience in the CPG industry.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Source and identify candidates continuously via company database, LinkedIn, Indeed, job postings, networking, direct targeting and referrals.
- Master Boolean search techniques using LinkedIn Recruiter and our ATS system to become a highly efficient and organized recruiter leveraging social media, and online marketing tools.
- Research and create target company 'headhunt' lists, pursue and uncover passive 'hidden'candidates.
- Short-list profiles, manage applicant tracking system in Job Science and LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Conduct phone screens & interviews in a thorough, professional, confidential & efficient manner.
- Manage interview scheduling, discover and debrief on client needs, obtain detailed feedback on interviews from candidates and customers.
- Conduct reference checks and manage offer / negotiation stage.
- Conduct customer & candidate follow ups, reviews and customer satisfaction surveys.
To succeed in this role you should have the following desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Must have 2+ yrs of full-cycle Recruitment experience in an agency environment.
- College Diploma or University Degree (ideally in business, psychology or related).
- Industry experience working within a Food/CPG environment would be an asset.
- High level of self-awareness and emotional intelligence.
- Attention to detail around resume screening, company and job profiling.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, grammar, and business writing.
- Ability to communicate very effectively over the phone, crafting messages and extracting relevant information.
- Displays high degree empathy and efficiency when assessing & evaluating candidates.
- Reputation of conducting business with a high level of integrity
- Self-motivated, and driven to succeed both financially and from a customer service standpoint.
- Highly disciplined and organized with the ability to re-prioritize daily and execute on tasks.
- Skilled at identifying high caliber talent and assisting them with their career search.
- Enjoys independence, variety in your work, flexible schedule, and working with and helping people.
This position is located in West GTA (Mississauga) in a professional office setting and comes with a base salary and commission plan.
