Kootenay Landscape is seeking an Experienced / Certified Sprinkler Technician / Turf Grass Management Technician to join our team.

Kootenay Landscape is a well established Landscape & Grounds Maintenance industry leader located in Cranbrook, BC servicing the East Kootenay Region of BC. The successful applicant will have underground irrigation certification or turf grass management certification or similar with 3 years or more experience in Commercial Landscape Irrigation Management and a Solid Understanding of Maintaining, Troubleshooting and Repair of small to large scale commercial sprinkler systems with startups, winterizing and seasonal maintenance.

Applicant will be self motivated, organized and be able to work with a team or alone. Successful applicant will work closely with the Operation manager with daily morning review meetings.

Duties will include seasonal monitoring and adjustments of residential and commercial sprinkler systems, troubleshooting & repairs to sprinkler valves, controllers, electrical wiring and sprinkler heads including all mechanical and electrical issues. Other duties will include fertilizer and weed control management applications.

Successful applicant will be provided with a dedicated service truck. Organizing and recording work order information, stocking supplies and keeping a clean and organized service truck is required.

Applicant will have valid drivers licence and clean driving record.

BC Pesticide Applicators Licence is an asset.

Renumeration is negotiable depending on industry experience and education.
