**Operational Assistant/Administrative Coordinator**

**This is a mat leave coverage position**

Summary:
In support of the Operations Manager - Canada, this role will provide administrative oversight in regard to facilities, business operations, HR, HSE, and/or administrative functions to achieve business goals.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Handle confidential information and communications
- Serve as the front-line contact for employee HR concerns
- Complete new hire orientation and employee onboarding
- Undertake administrative tasks, ensuring staff has adequate support
- Managing WCB accounts (AB, Sask)
- Portal management downloading invoices and entering into AP systems
- Fuel card management (Shell & UFA)
- Cell phone management (Bell Mobility)
- Maintain Comply Works & 8AM Solutions platforms (customer-based safety program)
- Maintain Workhub program and ensure that all employees are up to date with safety training, maintaining company policies and procedures
- Organize monthly safety meeting at the Head Office in Crossfield
- Assist in yearly unit registrations at the registries
- Assist in yearly fleet truck registrations
- Assist in inventory counts in the shop
- Maintain office supplies by keeping accurate inventory
- Assist employees with general technical issues
- Other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:
**Education and/or Experience**:

- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience

**Language Skills**:

- Ability to read, write, and speak fluently in English
- Ability to read and interpret documents
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

**Reasoning Ability**:

- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations

**Computer Skills**:

- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and Quickbooks. Nice to have knowledge in Fishbowl.

Pay: $27.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
