Operations & Client Support Coordinator – Business Loans

Location: Old Montreal, QC – In-person (on-site)

About the Role

NextFund is a business lending syndication firm helping small and medium-sized businesses access capital. We are looking for an organized, proactive Operations & Client Support Coordinator to support our business lending team. You will be the link between our clients, sales team, and accounting, ensuring each application moves smoothly from initial lead to funded file.

This is an in-person role based in Old Montreal.

Key Responsibilities

  • Call customers who have applied for a business loan to:
  • Confirm their interest and qualify them as an SQL (Sales Qualified Lead) based on our criteria
  • Gather missing information or clarify details about their application
  • Assist the sales team with document collection, including (but not limited to):
  • Bank statements
  • Identification (ID)
  • Financial statements and other relevant documents
  • Coordinate calendar bookings for prospects who have applied for our services and schedule meetings with our financing specialists
  • Work closely with the accounting department to:
  • Follow up on outstanding invoices
  • Confirm payments and update internal records
  • Answer the general phone line:
  • Direct calls to the right person
  • Coordinate meetings and follow-ups with customers
  • Update CRM and internal systems to ensure all client information, communication, and documents are properly logged and organized

Requirements

  • Previous experience in operations, admin, customer service, or sales support (experience in financial services or lending is an asset)
  • Strong communication skills in English and French (spoken and written)
  • Comfortable making and receiving client calls (inbound and outbound)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working with digital tools (CRM, email, calendar tools, document portals, etc.)

NextFund est une société de syndication en financement d'entreprise qui aide les PME à obtenir du capital. Nous recherchons un(e) Coordonnateur(trice) des opérations et du service à la clientèle pour soutenir notre équipe de financement. Vous serez le lien entre nos clients, l'équipe des ventes et le département de comptabilité afin d'assurer le bon déroulement de chaque dossier, de la demande initiale jusqu'au financement.

Il s'agit d'un poste en présentiel dans le Vieux-Montréal.

Responsabilités principales

  • Appeler les clients ayant fait une demande de prêt commercial afin de :
  • Confirmer leur intérêt et les qualifier comme SQL (Sales Qualified Lead) selon nos critères
  • Recueillir l'information manquante ou clarifier certains détails de leur demande
  • Assister l'équipe des ventes pour la collecte de documents, notamment :
  • Relevés bancaires
  • Pièces d'identité
  • États financiers et autres documents pertinents
  • Coordonner les prises de rendez-vous dans le calendrier pour les prospects ayant demandé nos services et planifier les rencontres avec nos spécialistes en financement
  • Travailler en collaboration avec le département de comptabilité pour :
  • Effectuer le suivi des factures impayées
  • Confirmer les paiements et mettre à jour les dossiers internes
  • Répondre à la ligne générale :
  • Diriger les appels vers la bonne personne
  • Coordonner les rencontres et les suivis avec les clients
  • Mettre à jour le CRM et les systèmes internes pour s'assurer que toute l'information, les communications et les documents clients sont bien classés et à jour

Exigences

  • Expérience préalable en opérations, administration, service à la clientèle ou soutien aux ventes
  • Une expérience dans le secteur financier ou du financement d'entreprise est un atout
  • Excellentes compétences de communication en français et en anglais (oral et écrit)
  • À l'aise avec les appels clients (entrants et sortants)
  • Grand sens de l'organisation et souci du détail
  • Capacité à gérer plusieurs tâches simultanément dans un environnement dynamique
  • À l'aise avec les outils numériques (CRM, courriel, agenda, portails de documents, etc.)
