Field Supervisor (Crude Oil Division)

Location: West Edmonton, AB

Salary: $4,000/month (~$48,000/year)

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Field Supervisor with a solid background in crude oil and fluid hauling.

The ideal candidate will have Class 1 driving experience, know B-train operations, and understand safe loading and offloading of crude oil.

This full-time position is based in West Edmonton and combines both field and office responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be on call to assist drivers with daily operational or mechanical issues.

  • Train and mentor new drivers on company procedures, crude oil hauling, and safety requirements.

  • Conduct hands-on training for new drivers, including safe loading and offloading practices.

  • Visit terminals such as Flint Hills and Gibson to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.

  • Coordinate driver schedules and handle communication between dispatch, drivers, and management.

  • Review and monitor driver logbooks for compliance and accuracy.

  • Oversee safety programs and act as Safety Manager when required.

  • Inspect trucks for maintenance issues and arrange necessary repairs.

  • Move company trucks between locations within Edmonton and across Alberta as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in crude oil or fluid hauling.

  • Valid Class 1 driver's license.

  • Experience operating B-trains.

  • Strong knowledge of loading and offloading crude oil.

  • Ability to train and support new drivers.

  • Good communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

  • Knowledge of H2S, CSO, and First Aid certifications is an asset.
