We're looking for a friendly, organized, and design-minded
Showroom Sales Associate
to join our Richmond team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, stays organized, and likes being involved in showroom operations, events, and client experience.
Key Responsibilities
Showroom Sales & Client Support
- Welcome and assist showroom visitors as the
first point of contact
. - Learn about clients' project needs and provide general product and design recommendations.
- Qualify leads and forward them to the appropriate cabinet specialist or designer.
- Support showroom events such as Lunch & Learns, vendor visits, and client meetings.
Showroom Organization & Sample Management
- Maintain a clean, welcoming, and well-merchandised showroom.
- Keep all material and door samples organized, labelled, and up to date.
- Order new samples and manage sample inventory.
- Prepare and ship sample boxes and door samples to clients.
Lead Handling & Reception
- Answer incoming calls professionally and direct them to the right team member.
- Manage walk-ins, emails, and appointment bookings.
- Gather key project information and treat every lead as a high-value opportunity.
- Pass qualified leads to the design team.
Event Coordination
- Take ownership of planning and organizing company events.
- Coordinate catering, materials, samples, and setup.
- Work closely with the team to create engaging client and industry events.

Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 2 years of retail sales experience in a design-related field (cabinetry, furniture, interiors, home improvement, etc.).
- Education in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Sales, or a related field is an asset but not required.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or basic design concepts is an asset.
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Self-motivated, organized, and professional.
- Positive, goal-driven attitude.
