Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong background in mathematics, with the ability to inspire students to develop their problem-solving skills and mathematical understanding. Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver engaging lessons aligned with curriculum standards to students across various grade levels.
  • Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and classroom participation, providing constructive feedback.
  • Create a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and curiosity.
  • Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and special education needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary projects and improve instructional strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavioral reports.
  • Provide tutoring support outside regular class hours to assist students needing extra help.
  • Incorporate laboratory or hands-on activities when applicable to enhance understanding of mathematical concepts.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of mathematics and effective teaching methodologies.
  • Experience in tutoring or classroom instruction, preferably in diverse educational settings.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
  • Ability to adapt lessons for students with special education requirements.
  • Laboratory or practical experience related to math applications is a plus.
  • Demonstrated patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching mathematics. This position is ideal for educators committed to fostering academic excellence and inspiring future generations through innovative teaching practices.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 20 per week
