Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement: Be the first point of contact for all walk-in customers and phone inquiries, greeting them with professionalism and a smile. Create an atmosphere of trust and welcome, ensuring every interaction is positive.
- Sales & Scheduling: Proactively engage with customers to drive sales and schedule estimates, striving for a closing ratio of 75%. Coordinate appointments for appraisals and deliveries to keep the workflow smooth and efficient.
- Repair Process Education: Guide customers through CARSTAR's repair process, explaining insurance claims, payment methods, and repair techniques. Ensure customers are well-informed about expected delivery dates and next steps.
- Customer Satisfaction: Educate customers about CARSTAR's Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and Net Promoter Score (NPS) surveys, demonstrating our commitment to service excellence.
- Appointment & Scheduler Management: Collaborate with the Office Manager to maintain an organized schedule, ensuring appointments are optimized to support workflow and efficiency.
- Payment Processing: Manage payment collections for completed repairs and assist with accounts receivable tasks as needed, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions.
- Documentation Management: Maintain meticulous records and ensure all paperwork is properly filed in our CARSTAR management system for seamless operations.
- Warranty Communication: Educate customers about CARSTAR's warranty options, including our 5-Year and Limited Lifetime warranties, giving them peace of mind about their repairs.
- Follow-Up Engagement: Keep the conversation going by following up on unsold estimate quotes within 48 hours, maximizing customer engagement and increasing sales opportunities.
- Office Maintenance & Team Collaboration: Ensure the front office and reception areas are clean and inviting, and actively participate in daily team meetings to align on goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
- Customer Service Expertise: At least two years of customer service experience, preferably in retail, to ensure outstanding customer interactions.
- Educational Background: A high school diploma or GED is required. A college degree is a plus, reflecting your commitment to growth and development.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication, customer service, and negotiation skills are essential to connect with customers and close sales effectively.
- Sales Experience: Previous experience in sales (especially in call centers or retail) is a bonus, helping you drive revenue and deliver results.
- Organizational Skills: You must be detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, ensuring accuracy in all areas of responsibility.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite and point-of-sale (POS) systems to handle transactions and manage records.
- Physical Ability: Capable of bending, kneeling, squatting, lifting up to 50 lbs, and standing/walking for extended periods.
- Professionalism: Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, ensuring reliability and punctuality in all aspects of the job.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license and insurable driving record are required for any necessary travel or deliveries.
- Work Environment Awareness: The role may involve exposure to paint, fumes, and chemicals, so adherence to safety protocols is a must.
- Availability: Must be available to work Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
