Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Budtender to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for cannabis products and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Budtender, you will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting the right products to meet their needs while maintaining compliance with all regulations and company policies.

Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and provide them with knowledgeable guidance on cannabis products.
  • Assist customers in making informed decisions by answering questions and providing product recommendations.
  • Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling transactions accurately.
  • Maintain an organized and inviting display of products through effective merchandising techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with all state regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products.
  • Perform heavy lifting as necessary to restock inventory and maintain store appearance.
  • Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization within the store.
  • Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
  • Manage cash handling procedures, ensuring accuracy in cash register operations.
  • Collaborate with team members to foster a positive work environment.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred, ideally within the cannabis industry or hospitality sector.
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
  • Ability to operate POS systems effectively.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Experience with merchandising strategies to enhance product visibility and appeal.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour
