Job Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Budtender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cannabis products and be dedicated to providing exceptional customer service in a retail environment. As a Budtender, you will assist customers in selecting the right products for their needs, ensuring a positive and informative shopping experience.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and provide them with product information and recommendations based on their preferences and needs.
  • Ability to verify age of customers.
  • Assist customers with product selection, including strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories.
  • Maintain an organized and clean sales floor while ensuring all products are displayed correctly.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing payments and managing cash registers.
  • Educate customers about the effects, benefits, and proper usage of cannabis products.
  • Stay informed about new products, industry trends, and local regulations regarding cannabis sales.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Perform light lifting as necessary to restock shelves or manage inventory.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service skills with a passion for helping others.
  • Ability to sell products effectively while maintaining compliance with all regulations.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Previous experience in hospitality or retail is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with Greeline POS or similar software for inventory tracking is a plus.
  • Must be able to perform light lifting as needed in a retail environment.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn about cannabis products and industry standards.
  • Cansell License (Must have or ability to attain)
  • Criminal Background check
