This is a rare leadership opportunity for someone energized by strengthening systems, amplifying impact, and building a legacy of support for children and youth. The ideal leader will bring strong vision, clarity, creativity, and heart, guiding the Foundation with strategic insight, operational excellence, and a commitment to meaningful, measurable outcomes.

This role offers unmatched opportunities for impact, leadership, and mission-driven fulfillment:

  • Provide visionary leadership and develop long-term strategic plans aligned with PCAF's mission in partnership with Peel CAS.
  • Work closely with the Board of Directors and Peel CAS Leadership to support strong governance and organizational excellence.
  • Lead annual planning, performance metrics, and organizational growth initiatives.

  • Lead strategies to grow annual revenue beyond $2M+ through major gifts, corporate partnerships, community engagement, and innovative fundraising initiatives.
  • Cultivate and steward meaningful relationships with donors, stakeholders, community partners, and corporate supporters.
  • Oversee donor and stakeholder engagement, recognition, and impact reporting to ensure transparency, accountability, and strong long-term relationships.
  • Create a fundraising 5 yr long term plan to ensure the success of the foundation with a goal of increasing annual fundraising to $10M

Operations & Financial Management

  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial stewardship, and compliance.
  • Implement sound operational processes, risk management, and policy development.
  • Ensure transparency and accountability across all aspects of the Foundation.
  • Oversee marketing, communications and branding for fundraising.

Team & Culture Leadership

  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive environment grounded in respect, compassion, and purpose.

They understand the diversity of the Peel community, the unique identities of the three municipalities and are energized by engaging across cultures, sectors, and communities. They combine strategic vision with a hands-on approach, balancing big-picture thinking with the ability to execute in a growing, entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications

  • Proven successful leadership experience in philanthropy, fundraising and working in foundations.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing fundraising strategies, especially major gifts and recurring fundraising strategies, including related marketing and communications.
  • Strong financial literacy and operational management experience.
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and public speaking skills.
  • Strategic thinker who leads with empathy, integrity, vision and business acumen.
  • Post-secondary education in business, social services, public administration, or related discipline is an asset, but strong experience in fundraising and leadership matters more than formal credentials
