Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee daily operations of our bar and restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of Italian food and beverage service, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role involves supervising staff, managing inventory, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining a welcoming environment for guests. Previous experience in restaurant management, hospitality, or the food industry is essential to succeed in this position.

Duties

  • Lead and supervise bar staff, including interviewing, training, and scheduling team members to ensure efficient service.
  • Oversee food preparation and ensure quality standards are maintained across all offerings.
  • Manage daily operations, including cash handling, POS transactions (including Micros POS), and inventory control.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff on food preparation, cooking, and presentation to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar environment in accordance with health and safety standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer service and increase sales.
  • Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and foster a positive atmosphere for guests.
  • Supervise serving staff during shifts to ensure smooth operations during busy hours.
  • Assist in hiring new team members through interviewing processes and onboarding.

Experience

  • Proven supervisory experience in food service or restaurant management.
  • Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms.
  • Experience in hospitality environments such as hotels or bars is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations including cash handling, inventory management, and customer service excellence.
  • Previous barista experience or hotel experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced environments while maintaining high standards of service. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
