Responsibilities

• AI-Powered Content Creation: Leverage AI prompts and animation tools to transform static photos into dynamic vertical videos, bringing still images to life with motion, effects, and compelling narratives.
• Content Creation & Animation: Transform raw video clips, photos, and graphics into engaging vertical content using both traditional editing techniques and cutting-edge AI animation tools.
• Strategic Hook Development: Create and rigorously test visual and written hooks designed to maximize view rates in the critical first 3 seconds, ensuring viewers stop scrolling and stay engaged.
• Multi-Format Video Production: Compile and edit 15-30 second videos optimized for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook, ensuring each piece aligns with platform best practices and current trends.
• Asset Management: Work with provided materials—video clips, photos, graphics, and brand assets—to craft cohesive, on-brand content that tells compelling stories.
• Caption & Copy Integration: Develop attention-grabbing captions and on-screen text that complement your visual storytelling and enhance message retention.
• Performance Optimization: Analyze video performance metrics to identify what resonates with audiences, continuously refining your approach to improve engagement and conversion rates.
• Collaborative Innovation: Partner with our social media and content teams to align video content with broader marketing strategies and client objectives.

Requirements

• A detail-oriented, creative mindset with exceptional organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• 2-3+ years of hands-on experience in video content creation, with a proven track record of producing engaging short-form content for social media platforms.
• University or College degree in Film Production, Digital Media, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Proficiency with industry-standard video editing tools including CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar platforms.
• Deep understanding of vertical video formats and platform-specific requirements for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook.
• Knowledge and application of visual storytelling techniques, including hook creation, pacing, transitions, and caption writing that drives engagement.
• Experience working within an agency setting is an asset, demonstrating your ability to manage multiple clients and adapt to diverse brand voices.
• Familiarity with the home services industry (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, roofing, etc.) is an asset, helping you quickly grasp client needs and create relevant content.

This position is primarily remote, and it is important that you are self-motivated, deadline-driven, and able to stay connected and responsive using project management and collaboration tools.
