Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead base build and tenant fit-out projects ranging from $500,000 to $5 million in the Greater Toronto Area. This role requires a proven track record in electrical construction management with strong technical expertise and cost control capabilities.

Key Responsibilities


• Manage electrical projects from conception through completion, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery


• Oversee base build and tenant fit-out projects in the $500K-$5M range


• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans


• Lead cost control initiatives, including estimating, budget tracking, and change order management


• Coordinate with clients, consultants, general contractors, and subcontractors


• Supervise field personnel and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations


• Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and contract documents


• Manage procurement of materials and equipment while maintaining quality standards


• Ensure all work meets Ontario Electrical Safety Code and relevant building codes

Required Qualifications


• Minimum 5-7 years of electrical project management experience in commercial construction


• Proven track record managing projects in the $500K-$5M range


• Demonstrated experience with base build and tenant fit-out projects


• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction methods, and industry best practices


• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills


• Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite


• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites across the GTA

Preferred Qualifications


• 309A Construction & Maintenance Electrician License


• Accubid estimating software experience


• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent


• Gold Seal Certification


• Experience with LEED or sustainable building projects
