**Key Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Coordinating with contractors and other team members to ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely manner
- Communicating with clients to keep them informed of project status and potential issues
- Managing the bidding process for projects to ensure that they adhere to company standards
- Ensuring that all work complies with government regulations
- Preparing detailed project plans and schedules for teams to follow
- Reviewing blueprints and schematics to determine feasibility of projects
- Coordinating with stakeholders to ensure that all projects are completed according to plan
- Managing the budget for projects so that costs are controlled and within limits set by the client
- Ensuring that all team members are properly trained to perform their jobs safely and efficiently

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- 10+ years of experience in controls/industrial automation
- Knowledge of PLC Programming and industrial controls, including 24VDC systems
- Ability to read/interpret/mark-up electrical schematics
- Experience directing skilled tradespeople, including electricians, millwrights, etc.
- Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities and deadlines
- Highly effective negotiation, diplomatic, and conflict resolution skills
- Advanced interpersonal, team building, leadership and organizational skills
- Experience selecting/purchasing electrical components including motor controls, wire, conduit, sensors, PLCs, HMI, transformers, enclosures, etc.
- Familiar with ESA/CSA inspection requirements
- Knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code
- Use of Microsoft Office, Excel and Word required
- Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Valid G drivers license, and personal vehicle are required
- Considered an asset: Electrical licence, experience with AutoCAD, mechanical press controls and electronics
