Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties
- Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics and repairs using advanced tools and equipment
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and schematics to identify issues and execute repairs accurately
- Engage in welding and assembly tasks as required for specific repairs or modifications
- Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting and the use of maintenance equipment
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems
- Maintain detailed records of all repairs and services performed
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs and solutions clearly
- Assist with vehicle inspections and ensure all work meets quality standards
Experience
- Prior dealership experience or extensive mechanic background preferred
- Proven experience with automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics
- Familiarity with welding, schematics, assembly, and the use of various hand and power tools
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or parts replacement
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills
- Previous experience working with customer service in an automotive setting is a plus
