Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Laborer to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting various construction projects by performing physically demanding tasks, assisting skilled tradespeople, and ensuring the smooth progress of construction activities. The ideal candidate will be reliable, safety-conscious, and eager to learn about the construction industry.

Duties

  • Assist with the preparation of construction sites, including unloading materials and setting up equipment
  • Perform manual labor such as digging, lifting, carrying, and cleaning work areas
  • Support carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople with their tasks as needed
  • Operate basic hand tools and machinery under supervision
  • Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment at all times
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
  • Assist in the installation of structures, framing, or other building components as directed

Skills

  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
  • Strong work ethic and reliability with a focus on safety
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials is a plus but not required; training will be provided
  • Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different job site requirements
  • Prior experience in construction or manual labor is advantageous but not necessary
