The Opportunity

Dulex Construction Corp. is seeking a motivated We're looking for a Skilled Labourer to join our growing field operations team. This position supports our site supervisors and project managers in the day-to-day execution of work across multiple job sites.

As a Skilled Labourer, you'll perform a wide range of construction and maintenance tasks, helping ensure our projects run smoothly and safely. This role is ideal for someone experienced with interior construction who takes pride in clean, organized work and enjoys variety day to day. We're looking for someone who is not also eager to build a long-term career with us - someone who wants to grow alongside the company and be a key part of our success story.

Key Responsibilities

• Positively and professionally represent Dulex Construction.
• Report to owner and coordinate with site supervisors and project managers for daily priorities.
• Provide general labour support across active job sites including but not limited to demolition work, door and frame installation, steel stud framing, minor drywall installation and patching, ceiling work, including T-bar grid installation and repair, painting and touch-ups as required.
• Meet and provide access to trades, inspectors, and deliveries.
• Ability to perform a variety of labour work including but not limited to:
• Accept and unload deliveries, handle materials, and maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Assist with site setup including but not limited to site protection, hoarding if required, safety barriers, signage, and deficiency closeout work.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in commercial or light industrial construction.
• Skilled in steel stud, drywall, T-bar ceilings, and general finishing.
• Physically fit and comfortable handling materials and equipment.
• Valid BC driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to work independently with attention to detail and safety.

Assets (Preferred but Not Required)

• WHMIS, Fall Protection, or other safety certifications.
• Experience with small repairs, patching, and closeout work.
• Basic tools and PPE.
• Truck.
