Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified Heavy Duty Mechanic with a strong work ethic and a proven track record of success. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a wide range of heavy equipment, including:

  • Excavators
  • Rock Trucks
  • Dump Trucks
  • Dozers
  • Loaders
  • Other heavy construction equipment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on all heavy equipment
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions
  • Weld and fabricate parts as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs
  • Ensure all equipment is in safe working order
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic (Preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems
  • Experience with welding and fabrication
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment problems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • A good attitude
