**Overview**

**Duties**
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment including on & off road equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and automotive diagnostic tools.
- Conduct repairs on engines, air brakes, hydraulics, suspension systems, and HVAC components.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs and assembly tasks.
- Ensure all equipment is in compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their equipment needs.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs performed and parts used during service.
- Assist in the training of junior technicians as needed.
- Keep work area clean & tidy.

**Skills**
- Proven experience in equipment repair and maintenance, preferably in a service technician environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment operation including Caterpillar machinery and tractor-trailers.
- Familiarity with automotive repair processes including brake repair, alignment, shocks & struts, and diesel engine repair.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for electrical systems and mechanical components.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and soldering techniques.
- Experience with farm machinery operations is a plus.
- Capable of performing heavy lifting as required during maintenance tasks.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $40.00-$60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
